- Peter Warren Review added: 2018.03.16★ ★ ★ ★ ☆This pub is stunning. Lovely beer, lovely food and nice people. Debenham has two great pubs and since Penny and Alistair took over at the Angel it has ascended to the Heavens. They have put on homemade bar snacks and a good hearty menu from the kitchen of Gary Wilson and Blue Buffery supplemented by barbecues at the weekends. It is definitely a treat for this summer. Last Sunday the garden at the back was packed out. If I have one criticism it is the lack of something exotic on the menu like an Arnold Bennett Omelette that apart ****
